The Nomad Outland whisky it's a Blended Whisky born in Scotland, but aged in Jerez in Spain thanks to the collaboration of two Master Blenders, Richard Paterson, one of the most representative figures in the world of whisky and winemaker Antonio Flores of Gonzalez Byass's San Fernando Winery. Nomad Outland was born out of 30 different ones whisky of malt and grain from Speyside and Highland, aged between 5 and 8 years; the blend obtained is then matured in Scotland, in ex Sherry barrels for 3 years, after which it will be transferred to Jerez to be aged for 12 months in Pedro Ximenez barrels in the Jerez cellar. The Nomad is first whisky Scottish to be aged outside Scotland; this trip to Jerez, an Andalusian city by the sea, gives the Nomad the soft and elegant flavors of the Pedro Ximenez ex-Sherry casks and will absorb the different temperature changes of the city.
TASTE: Hints of vanilla and dried fruit, malty notes of oak and sherry; complex aftertaste.
